Description
This reproduction follows “"The Feast of Sada", Folio 22v from the Shahnama (Book of Kings) of Shah Tahmasp”, dated ca. 1525 and held by Metropolitan Museum of Art. The source credits the maker as Painting attributed to Sultan Muhammad.
The feast recalls the epic discovery and celebration of fire. A sixteenth-century painted narrative is distinguished from evidence about the precise ritual of ancient communities.
Choose an art print or an oil interpretation on canvas, then select your size and finish. The digitized composition keeps its proportions; the original object’s measurements, where known, do not limit the reproduction sizes offered.
The original object’s medium is recorded below using the museum’s terminology. A manuscript, drawing or print reproduced on canvas is an interpretation of that document; its original paper, silk, pigments and gilding are not the materials of the reproduction.
