You have a wall of a certain size, a palette you have spent weeks resolving, and a shortlist of nothing that fits. This is the part of a scheme that usually gets compromised last and hardest.
Specified, not shopped
Because every piece is painted rather than picked off a shelf, the constraints run the other way round. Give us the dimensions and we paint to them — the ten sizes on this site are a convenience for retail customers, not a limit. Give us the palette and we can shift a reproduction warmer or cooler within what the original allows, and tell you honestly when it does not allow it.
What we can supply for a specification
- High-resolution visuals of any work at your exact dimensions, for the client presentation, before anything is commissioned.
- Physical samples — a stretched linen swatch with the varnish and a corner of the moulding, so the client can hold the actual materials.
- Moulding matching. Twenty-two mouldings in stock; outside that we will match a profile you are already using elsewhere in the scheme.
- Written lead times you can put in a programme: ten to twenty working days per piece, running in parallel across a series.
- Trade terms from ten pieces, quoted per project.
Where the collection helps
Twenty thousand painters, filterable by country, century and movement, is a research tool as much as a shop. If a scheme calls for seventeenth-century Dutch, or specifically Sienese, or Japanese woodblock, the shortlist exists and every work in it is out of copyright — so a client can photograph the finished room and publish it without a single clearance.
How trade accounts work
- Trade pricing from ten pieces, and a further tier above fifty. Quoted per project, not per item.
- One point of contact from the first quote to delivery, and the same painter across a series so the set hangs together.
- Proofs before production. You approve a photograph of the first canvas before the rest are started.
- Any size, including formats outside the ten on the site — we paint to your wall, not to a catalogue.
- Free shipping worldwide, insured, on a schedule agreed with your fitters.
- Invoicing on account for established partners, with VAT handled for EU businesses.
