Help & Support
Everything you need to know about our hand-painted reproductions.
Our Paintings
That depends on the option you choose. Every artwork is offered in two versions. Choose Painting and the canvas is painted from start to finish in oils by a trained artist — no digital printing, no laser process, no mechanical reproduction of any kind — and it ships with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Choose Print and you receive a printed reproduction of the same work: the more affordable option, and not a hand-painted piece.
Fine-grain linen canvas stretched over solid wood frames, artist-grade oil paints (highly concentrated natural pigments) and protective UV varnishes. These are the same materials the Old Masters used, and the ones professional artists still use today.
Choose your finish on the product page: rolled canvas, stretched canvas or framed artwork. Your selected finish is shown in the basket with its price. A rolled canvas will need to be stretched or framed before hanging.
Oil paint is very durable when looked after properly. Avoid direct sunlight and excessive humidity. To remove dust, use a soft brush or a dry microfibre cloth. Never use chemical products. With those simple precautions your canvas will keep its beauty for centuries.
Orders & Customisation
A hand-painted oil reproduction takes 10 to 20 days to paint. Shipping time is additional and varies by destination. If you need an artwork by a particular date, including a print, contact us before ordering so we can confirm the expected timing.
Absolutely. If the size you want is not among our standard options, contact us before ordering. We accept made-to-measure dimensions, panoramic formats and square formats. You will receive a quote within 24 hours.
Yes. We accept off-catalogue commissions for any work in the public domain — that is, by any painter who died in 1929 or earlier, all of whom are listed on our painters page. Email us a high-resolution reference image and we will send you a personalised quote within 48 hours.
Legality & Trust
Yes, entirely. In the European Union a work enters the public domain 70 years after the artist’s death, and every painter we reproduce — Monet, Van Gogh, Da Vinci and Klimt among them — died in 1929 or earlier, which puts their work out of copyright in Europe and in the United States alike. Reproducing and selling it is perfectly legal, provided the original signature is not imitated, which we never do: the artist signs the reproduction with their own name.
We invite you to read our customer reviews on each product page. You can also ask us for photographs of recently completed works similar to the one you are interested in. And of course, our 30-day money-back guarantee protects you fully.
Delivery
