A hundred bedrooms need a hundred pictures, and the wrong answer is a hundred identical prints. We paint series: the same hand, the same palette, a different painting in every room.
What hotels come to us for
Guests photograph what is above the bed. A printed canvas reads as printed in that photograph, and it reads as printed at two in the morning when someone is lying awake looking at it. An oil painting has a surface, and it is the cheapest thing in a bedroom that says the room was considered.
The practical problem is usually consistency across a floor, and delivery that lands when the fit-out needs it rather than when a warehouse gets round to it. Both are the point of working with a studio instead of a supplier.
How it works for a property
- Bedrooms and suites. One theme per floor or per category, varied painting by painting — a Dutch marine series, a set of Impressionist gardens, botanical studies for a spa floor.
- Lobbies and restaurants. A single large statement piece, painted to the wall’s exact dimensions.
- Corridors. Smaller works in matching mouldings, hung as a rhythm rather than as isolated pictures.
- Replacements. We keep your series on file. A damaged canvas is repainted to match, years later, without you having to explain what it was.
Choosing without a curator
Tell us the property, the era of the building and the mood you want held, and we come back with a shortlist drawn from twenty thousand public-domain painters. Every work is out of copyright, so there is no rights clearance, no licence to renew, and nothing to explain to your legal team.

- One point of contact from the first quote to delivery, and the same painter across a series so the set hangs together.
- Proofs before production. You approve a photograph of the first canvas before the rest are started.
- Any size, including formats outside the ten on the site — we paint to your wall, not to a catalogue.
- Free shipping worldwide, insured, on a schedule agreed with your fitters.
