Description
This reproduction follows “Nowrojee Jamsetjee Wadia, Parsi Shipbuilder”, dated c. 1830 and held by Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland. The source credits the maker as Unidentified artist.
Nowrojee holds ship plans in a separate companion portrait. The picture records one prominent Parsi professional family, rather than representing the social condition of every Zoroastrian.
Choose an art print or an oil interpretation on canvas, then select your size and finish. The digitized composition keeps its proportions; the original object’s measurements, where known, do not limit the reproduction sizes offered.
The original object’s medium is recorded below using the museum’s terminology. A manuscript, drawing or print reproduced on canvas is an interpretation of that document; its original paper, silk, pigments and gilding are not the materials of the reproduction.
