Description
This reproduction follows “Yanzi at the Apricot Altar”, dated Mid-17th century and held by Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The source credits the maker as Kanō Tan’yū (1602–1674).
A distinct companion painting within Kanō Tan’yū’s Apricot Altar ensemble. Its quiet, formal figure participates in the Japanese reception of the Confucian teaching lineage.
Choose an art print or an oil interpretation on canvas, then select your size and finish. The digitized composition keeps its proportions; the original object’s measurements, where known, do not limit the reproduction sizes offered.
The original object’s medium is recorded below using the museum’s terminology. A manuscript, drawing or print reproduced on canvas is an interpretation of that document; its original paper, silk, pigments and gilding are not the materials of the reproduction.
