Description
This reproduction follows “Shakyamuni, Laozi and Confucius”, dated Ming dynasty, 1368–1644 and held by National Museum of Asian Art, Smithsonian Institution. The source credits the maker as Unidentified Chinese artist.
The three figures bring Buddhist, Daoist and Confucian traditions into a shared composition. The meeting is symbolic, not a historical encounter. Collection accession: F1916.109.
Choose an art print or an oil interpretation on canvas, then select your size and finish. The digitized composition keeps its proportions; the original object’s measurements, where known, do not limit the reproduction sizes offered.
The original object’s medium is recorded below using the museum’s terminology. A manuscript, drawing or print reproduced on canvas is an interpretation of that document; its original paper, silk, pigments and gilding are not the materials of the reproduction.
