The Painter
1773–1841 · British
John Pennington (1773–1841) was a British painter whose work has passed into the public domain. That is what lets this studio reproduce it — any of the paintings listed below can be painted by hand, in oils on linen canvas.
Every canvas here is rebuilt the way it was originally made: a ground, an underpainting, the body colour, then glazes and a protective varnish. The artist follows the sequence the period demanded rather than a shortcut that would look similar from a distance.
Any of these can be painted for you by hand. Tell us which one and the size you want, and we will send a quote within 48 hours.
