The Painter

Francisco Goya

1746–1828 · Spanish · Rococo, Romanticism

Francisco Goya (1746–1828) was a Spanish painter whose work has passed into the public domain. That is what lets this studio reproduce it — any of the paintings listed below can be painted by hand, in oils on linen canvas.

Associated with Rococo, Romanticism.

Reproducing this painter

Rococo works in a high, pale key — powdered pinks, silvers, sky blues — with a light and rapid touch. The palette leaves no room for error: one value half a step too dark and the whole canvas turns heavy.
