Description
This reproduction follows “Jamsetjee Bomanjee Wadia, Parsi Shipbuilder”, dated c. 1830 and held by Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland. The source credits the maker as Unidentified artist.
An anonymous, probably posthumous portrait of the Parsi shipbuilder. The archive tentatively mentions J. Dorman; that suggestion is not treated as a confirmed painter attribution.
Choose an art print or an oil interpretation on canvas, then select your size and finish. The digitized composition keeps its proportions; the original object’s measurements, where known, do not limit the reproduction sizes offered.
The original object’s medium is recorded below using the museum’s terminology. A manuscript, drawing or print reproduced on canvas is an interpretation of that document; its original paper, silk, pigments and gilding are not the materials of the reproduction.
