Description

A reproduction after Bartolomé Esteban Murillo’s The Immaculate Conception, painted around 1680 and held by the Cleveland Museum of Art (1959.189). The upward movement, luminous clothing and surrounding angels give visible form to a Marian devotional subject. The subject concerns Mary, not the birth of Jesus.

Choose a print or a hand-painted oil reproduction, the finish and the size using the configurator. The size ladder follows the original painting’s proportions, approximately 127.5 × 220.5 cm. This is a reproduction, not the museum original.

Museum image: Cleveland Museum of Art Open Access, CC0. Original painting and museum record.

What is the difference between a print and an oil painting?

A print is a printed reproduction. An oil painting is painted by hand in oils. Check the options on this product page before choosing your technique.

How do I choose the size?

Check the dimensions listed on this product page and choose the size that suits your space. Available sizes depend on the artwork.

Which finishes are available?

Three finishes are available: rolled, stretched or framed. Supplements are shown in the configurator; the price depends on your chosen technique, size and finish.

How long does an oil painting take?

A hand-painted oil painting takes 10–20 days to produce. This is the painting time, not a delivery estimate, and does not apply to prints.

What are the shipping cost and return window?

Shipping is free worldwide, with no minimum order. The return window is 30 days.
