Juan Gris

1887–1927 · Spanish · cubism

Juan Gris (1887–1927) was a Spanish painter whose work has passed into the public domain. That is what lets this studio reproduce it — any of the paintings listed below can be painted by hand, in oils on linen canvas.

Associated with cubism.

Reproducing this painter

Every canvas here is rebuilt the way it was originally made: a ground, an underpainting, the body colour, then glazes and a protective varnish. The artist follows the sequence the period demanded rather than a shortcut that would look similar from a distance.
